Common Questions

Where are you based?

Our head office is in Brisbane, and our dressmakers work remotely from their homes. We operate online so we service brides all over Australia and overseas.

Do you have a shop I can visit to try on dresses?

We don’t have a physical shop because we custom-make each dress according to the photos that our customers provide us, rather than offering a limited range of designs.

Can I order now but hold off making it until closer to the wedding?

Yes, absolutely! We actually recommend waiting until closer to your wedding to make the dress so the measurements are more accurate.

How do I get measured?

You can do your measurements at home, with a friend or your mum to help you. We provide a very simple measuring guide to follow, all you need is a tape measure.

Can I pay by installments?

Yes you can. After you have paid your deposit you can pay the remainder in smaller amounts if it suits you, as long as the full amount is paid before the dress is posted to you.

Can you provide fabric samples?

Yes we can. There is a fee of $75 to cover cost of fabrics and postage.

Do you offer a fitting service?

Fittings are not included in our service. This is because our dressmakers work remotely from their homes so our dresses are delivered to you fully finished. It’s one of the ways we are able to keep our costs low and provide a quality dress for an affordable price.

Do you do alterations?

We don’t offer an alterations service. If you find that you need an alteration done, we recommend taking your dress to a local business (most drycleaners offer alterations) so you can try the dress on in person and have them pin it exactly where you need it altered to.
